Joan Beauvais
The Kickemuit River Council mourns the death of Joan Beauvais on December
29, 2007. The Council wishes to express its sympathy to the family of
Joan Beauvais, a Bristolian, who served as a representative of the BAIA
- Butterworth Avenue Improvement Association to the KRC for 33 years.
Joan loved the Kickemuit River. We are grateful for her advice, dedication
and service. We will miss her so. The Kickemuit River runs in her soul.
Joan Beauvais was one of the voices who knew the Kickemuit River, loved
it, and wanted to save it. We are thankful that we knew her. The gifts
she shared with us cannot be measured except by the heart.
Muriel Kane
The Kickemuit River Council mourns the death of Muriel Kane on February
22, 2006. Muriel was a Bristolian and a member of our Board. She worked
hard for us. She spoke for the right. Muriel was caring, intelligent,
interesting, dedicated, and forthright. We will miss her. We are grateful
for her years of help and advice. She joins Henry Keefe, Howard Yeager,
Manuel Camille, Clint Ogden, and James & Dorothy Mathewson, Barbara
McArdle--all of whom loved and worked for the Kickemuit River. They gave
us gifts that cannot be measured except by the heart.
Rita Pellegrini
The Kickemuit River Council (KRC) mourns the death of our beloved treasurer,
Rita Pellegrini, on February 1, 2007. Rita was honest, helpful, interested,
interesting, and intelligent. She volunteered as KRC treasurer for over
25 years. God bless her--and hers. She will be missed so much. We offer
our condolences to her family, friends, and neighbors. She was a woman
of integrity. God bless all those who cared for her.
